Visit to a Place of Historical Interest
A visit to a historical place of interest, always has an educative value, besides providing pleasure. I had a chance to visit Murshidabad, the ancient capital of undivided Bengal. The place still breathes an aura of antiquity. I was fascinated to see the historical tombs, mosques, and palaces. I first visited the Sabji Katra mosque. It is one of the most splendid buildings of the Nawabi Bengal built by Murshid Kuli Khan. went to see the great Jahan Kosha Canon next, built in 1614 by a Bengali artisan Janardan Karmakar and weighs more than 700 tons. It shows that metallurgy skills were of very high quality in Bengal.
We also visited the famous Hazarduari Palace Museum built by Nawab Humayunza and mosque and buildings like Moti Masjid, Kathgola palace etc. The armoury in the Hazarduari Palace was very interesting and displayed a huge collection of guns and swords. I also went to the other side of the Ganges to see the Khosbag where Siraj, the last independent Nawab of Bengal, lies buried. We also availed the chance to visit the adjoining sites of Azimgan Murshidabad. The famous Jain temples and the Ran Bhavani temple are worth seeing. The carvings on the temple are exquisite to say the least as it combines the features, of Hindu, Islamic and Buddhist teachings. of Rani Bhavani reveals subtlety, complexity and richness of contrast with the grandeur of the Islamic tombs, the temple ornamentation. I was really enriched by the visit. History came alive in front of my eyes.

No life can exist on earth without water. So, we the other name of water if ‘Life’. How water is formed through a cycle of process is described below. We find everywhere and it maintains a well-connected cycle of forms. During the day, the land and water bodies become hot. Water evaporates from different water-sources and goes higher. It rises higher into the upper atmosphere in the form of vapour. The more it soars higher, it comes in contact with colder atmosphere and gradually forms cloud. In course of time, the cloud becomes colder again and leads to formation of droplets. The droplets, while floating in the sky get combined with other droplets gaining in size and weight. Now, they cannot float in the upper atmosphere. They fall down on the earth as rain.
